In keeping with our commitment to give you at least 48 hours notification of ImageSilo upgrades, this announcement is to notify you of a planned upgrade to ImageSilo website infrastructure to R85.3.  The upgrade is currently planned to begin on Thursday, January 17, 2019.  As usual, upgrades may take place during normal business hours as no customer impact is expected.

ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Dec. 7, 2018

ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Nov. 5, 2018

Purpose: Migrate FTP database server

Customer Impact: ImageSilo engineers will be upgrading the FTP database server.  This will result in unavailability for FTP services of up to an hour as the database is migrated.  This will start promptly at 6:00 AM to take advantage of the lowest-use period for FTP and to give engineers access to vendor technical support for assistance if there are issues with the migration, and will be completed as early as possible.

ImageSilo Emergency Maintenance Notification – Aug. 31, 2018

Purpose: Address degraded FTP performance

Customer Impact: ImageSilo engineers are continuing to work on issues with FTP performance.  Engineers have engaged the software vendor to resolve issues with the secure upload and secure download FTP sites.  Prior to switching to the new servers.  Imagesilo Engineering thoroughly tested these systems, however a bug in the software is preventing access to the secure servers.  Engineers will continue to work this issue to resolution.

ImageSilo Service Bulletin Update – August 29, 2018

This morning at 0600 MDT ImageSilo engineers began the process to move FTP services to AWS.  This process was completed at 1400 MDT.  All FTP services have been restored at this time.

During this move the IP address for the FTP servers was changed.  Engineers planned this to minimize or eliminate any customer impact from these changes, but in some unusual cases customers may experience issues connecting to the servers.

ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Aug. 29, 2018

Purpose: Complete the migration of FTP data to AWS

Customer Impact: ImageSilo engineers will be completing the move of FTP services to AWS.  This will result in periods of unavailability for FTP services of up to six hours for each service (FTP In/Secure FTP In, FTP Out/Secure FTP Out) as the data is migrated.  As FTP is not a critical component for accessing ImageSilo data this will be done during the day to take advantage of a low-use period for the service.

ImageSilo Informational Message – Aug. 17, 2018

Date: August 17, 2018 (Friday)

Due to the current profile of customer data located on our inbound FTP servers, the synchronization between our data center and AWS FTP servers may take longer than expected.  As such, FTP services and imports from those FTP servers may be suspended longer than expected during the scheduled maintenance window.  Rest assured that FTP services and imports will resume as soon as the data is fully synchronized.
