ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Jan. 23, 2015

Start Date: January 23, 2015 (Friday)
Start Time: 20:00 (MST)
Finish Date: January 26, 2015 (Monday)
Finish Time: 04:00 (MST)

Purpose: Perform maintenance on storage, database, and security systems.

Customer Impact: During this maintenance, ImageSilo Engineers will be performing maintenance on our storage systems, which will require failovers between systems. The expected impact of the storage maintenance is two brief periods (approximately two minutes each) of decreased performance. ImageSilo Engineers will also be applying software patches and making configuration changes to database clusters. The expected impact of the database maintenance is four periods (approximately two minutes each) of inaccessibility while database clusters are failed over, although not all user will be affected by each of the four periods. Finally, ImageSilo Engineers will be updating security systems. During those updates, the expected customer impact is brief periods of increased latency.

Purpose: Upstream network providers will be modifying configuration of border and core routers.

Customer Impact: Upstream network providers will be modifying the configuration of border and core routers to enhance protection of the control plane. This maintenance does not affect traffic passing through these routers and should be transparent to you.

Purpose: Upstream network providers will be performing carrier maintenance.

Customer Impact: Upstream network providers will be performing carrier maintenance. Due to the redundant nature of the ImageSilo network, these changes should be transparent to customers with only brief periods of increased latency and packet loss as routes re-converge.
