Purpose: Relocate primary ImageSilo operations to a new data center.

Customer Impact:  The purpose of this maintenance notification is to give you a month notification of a planned ImageSilo service interruption.  The ImageSilo service interruption is expected to last three (3) to four (4) hours during the maintenance window and, in consideration of all our valued customers, will be performed in a statistically low usage timeframe, starting Saturday morning.  For the first time in the history of the ImageSilo service, over 12 years, ImageSilo Engineers will be relocating our primary ImageSilo operations to a brand new location.  The new facility is one of the premier colocation facilities in the country and is located in Centennial, Colorado, just up the street from our corporate headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado.  Not only will we be moving the ImageSilo operations but we will also be taking advantage of all aspects of this state-of-the-art facility as well as continuing to maintain operations on a separate power grid from our Omaha, Nebraska facility.  ImageSilo engineers have spent considerable time planning and staging the move so as to minimize customer impact.  However, the extended maintenance window noted above will be utilized to monitor and ensure the delivery of high quality standards our customers have enjoyed since the inception of the ImageSilo service.  Thank you in advance for your patience during the move.  We greatly appreciate your business.

The purpose of this communication is to let you know that the ImageSilo Engineering Team has been forced to delay the relocation of our primary ImageSilo operations to a new data center originally scheduled for June 14th through June 17th.  While our ImageSilo engineers have meticulously planned the move months, we also must rely on our supplier partners to meet and/or exceed their commitments to us.  Unfortunately one of our critical telco partners has notified us that they are having difficulty meeting their agreed upon deadlines.  Our Engineering team feels that this uncertainty on their part puts you, our valued customers, at unnecessary risk for an increased service interruption interval during the originally planned maintenance window.  We apologize for any inconvenience this maintenance window cancellation may have caused you but please be assured that our primary objective is to continue to provide you, our valued customers, with the legendary service you have become accustomed to with ImageSilo.  In short, if we feel we cannot perform and deliver at a world-class level, then we will not attempt to do so until we are confident we can.  Once we are confident that our vendor partners have performed and we have had time to adequately test their work we will reschedule the relocation of the primary ImageSilo operations to a new data center.  We appreciate your business and the trust you put in us.

Purpose: Our data center operations, in conjunction with electrical vendors, will perform recommended quarterly preventative maintenance on the emergency backup generators and ATS switches.

Customer Impact: There is no customer impact expected during this maintenance window. However, at the conclusion of the routine preventative maintenance, a power outage will be simulated and the facility will run on generator power for approximately 30 minutes. The redundant design of the power infrastructure at this facility, including UPS and Generator, allows for this type of maintenance with little risk to customers. However, as with any power transfer scenario there is increased risk of an outage.

Purpose: Perform network bandwidth enhancements, database memory management enhancements, and security infrastructure enhancements.

Customer Impact: ImageSilo Engineers plan to make three changes within the ImageSilo architecture:
1 – ImageSilo Engineers will be making changes to ImageSilo’s network infrastructure to increase internet bandwidth. There may be a couple of very short (30 second or less) periods of increased latency and minimal packet loss.
2 – ImageSilo Engineers will be making minor modifications to the SQL database cluster settings to enhance memory management. The settings changes will require one or two manual failovers. For each failover, we expect a single period of service interruption lasting up to two minutes.
3 – ImageSilo Engineers will be making modifications to the firewall devices. No customer impact is expected for these modifications.
