ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Nov. 15, 2013

Purpose: Remove domain controllers, upgrade storage systems, and update firewall rules.

Customer Impact: ImageSilo engineers will be removing old domain controllers from our Active Directory infrastructure (no customer impact expected), performing software upgrades on our storage systems (expected two to four periods of increased latency lasting up to three minutes each during manual fail-overs of storage systems), and updating firewall rules (no customer impact expected).

ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Nov. 1, 2013

Purpose: Perform maintenance on storage systems, firewalls, database clusters, domain controllers, and changing DNS/NTP settings on multiple systems.

Customer Impact: ImageSilo will be upgrading storage systems at our redundant location, modifying firewall rules, promoting AD servers in our domain hierarchy, and updating DNS/NTP settings on multiple systems – no customer impact is expected related to these items. However, changes will be made on the database clusters that require failovers. During those failovers, two periods of inaccessibility lasting up to three minutes is expected.

ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Oct. 11, 2013

Purpose: Apply database updates; replace defective switching hardware; apply firewall update; perform AD schema expansion.

Customer Impact: On Friday evening, ImageSilo engineers will apply database updates. During those updates, manual failovers will be performed, resulting in an expected maximum of two to three minutes of inaccessibility during the failover. On Saturday, ImageSilo engineers will be replacing defective switching hardware, applying firewall updates, and expanding the AD schema. No customer impact is expected on Saturday due to the redundant architecture of ImageSilo.

Reminder: Important 4-day ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Aug. 2, 2013

This is a 4 day reminder of the notification originally sent out on July 1, 2013 for maintenance to occur on August 2, 2013.

Purpose: Relocate primary ImageSilo operations to a new data center.

Customer Impact:  The purpose of this maintenance notification is to give you a month notification of a planned ImageSilo service interruption.  The ImageSilo service interruption is expected to last three (3) to four (4) hours during the maintenance window and, in consideration of all our valued customers, will be performed in a statistically low usage timeframe, starting Saturday morning.  For the first time in the history of the ImageSilo service, over 12 years, ImageSilo Engineers will be relocating our primary ImageSilo operations to a brand new location.  The new facility is one of the premier colocation facilities in the country and is located in Centennial, Colorado, just up the street from our corporate headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado.  Not only will we be moving the ImageSilo operations but we will also be taking advantage of all aspects of this state-of-the-art facility as well as continuing to maintain operations on a separate power grid from our Omaha, Nebraska facility.  ImageSilo engineers have spent considerable time planning and staging the move so as to minimize customer impact.  However, the extended maintenance window noted above will be utilized to monitor and ensure the delivery of high quality standards our customers have enjoyed since the inception of the ImageSilo service.  Thank you in advance for your patience during the move.  We greatly appreciate your business.
