Purpose: ImageSilo engineers will be replacing failed hardware in the ImageSilo storage systems.
Customer Impact: This morning, ImageSilo storage systems experienced a processor failure. Due to the high level of redundancy, the redundant partner of the failed node immediately took control of the affected storage volumes, which was completed within 45 seconds. A replacement motherboard and processors have been dispatched, as well as a vendor-badged engineer to aid in the repair. There is no expected customer impact for the repair of the failed equipment. However, when the failed node is fully restored and control is returned, it is expected that another single 45 second period of latency may occur.
