ImageSilo Maintenance Notification – Oct. 14, 2016

Purpose: Perform update of load balancers.

Note: During the previous maintenance window, ImageSilo engineers identified an issue with the load balancer update that would have impacted customer access to some ImageSilo systems. As a result, the update was reverted without any customer impact. Engineering has worked with the load balancer vendor to identify a solution to the issue, and will be applying the load balancer update during this maintenance window.

Customer Impact: ImageSilo engineers will be applying an update to the ImageSilo load balancers and performing general maintenance on the domain infrastructure. Due to the redundant nature of the ImageSilo architecture, customer impact is expected to be limited to two periods of increased latency during failovers.

ImageSilo Emergency Maintenance Notification – Apr. 18, 2016

Start Date: April 18, 2016 (Monday)
Start Time: 17:00 (MDT)

Purpose: Address database server failure.
Customer Impact: ImageSilo engineers have been continuing to investigate a failure of one of the members of the database clusters. Engineers will work with the hardware vendor to replace failed components on the cluster member, after which testing may cause brief periods (expected to last approximately 2 minutes) of inaccessibility as the cluster is failed-over to confirm the repairs.

Purpose: Perform maintenance on a database cluster.

Customer Impact: During this maintenance, ImageSilo Engineers will be applying hardware firmware updates to all members of one of the database clusters. Due to the redundant nature of ImageSilo, the expected impact of this maintenance is up to three periods (each up to approximately two minutes) of inaccessibility while the database cluster is failed over.
