Purpose: Hard reboot of all file storage systems.
Customer Impact: ImageSilo engineers will be performing a hard reboot (complete shutdown and restart) of all file storage systems used by ImageSilo. ImageSilo engineers have been working with our storage vendors to address a hardware issue in our infrastructure. This issue is not causing any customer impact. Our engineers have tried multiple other solutions that would have been much less intrusive, but to no avail. Therefore, we (and our vendors) believe it is necessary to fix the issue before it leads to issues that could impact customers in the future. Unfortunately, the manufacturer’s only remaining manner of addressing this very unique problem requires complete shutdown of all storage controllers and disk trays. This is expected to result in one period of approximately thirty (30) minutes of inaccessibility on Friday night.
